Residents in Newham are being urged to check their waste and recycling collection dates ahead of the Easter holidays, as the local council has announced a revised schedule due to the upcoming bank holidays.
This year, Easter Sunday falls on April 20, with Good Friday and Easter Monday bank holidays taking place on April 18 and April 21, respectively. As a result, routine bin collection days will be altered between Saturday, April 12, and Saturday, April 26.
Newham Council has released a full list of the changes, advising residents to take note and ensure bins are left out on the correct revised days.

The council has also indicated that further changes are expected for the May Bank Holidays on May 5 and May 26, although details for those dates have not yet been confirmed.
