Dubai is gearing up for spectacular fireworks displays in celebration of Eid Al Fitr, with several prominent locations across the city set to light up the skies. The events offer a unique opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy the festivities with family and friends.

Key Locations and Times for Eid Fireworks

The first day of Eid will feature fireworks at Nessnass Beach and Hatta, both scheduled to start at 8:00 PM. These locations offer picturesque backdrops, with the Hatta Sign providing a scenic mountain view, while Nessnass Beach is known for its stunning coastline.

On the second day of Eid, The Beach (opposite JBR) and Bluewaters will host their own fireworks displays, beginning at 9:00 PM. Both venues are prime spots to enjoy the festivities, with plenty of dining options to enhance the experience.

In addition, Beach Canteen—a seasonal pop-up dining experience along the Jumeirah coastline—will feature an evening fireworks show. This vibrant venue, located in Jumeirah 3 near Sunset Mall, combines delicious local dishes, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities, offering a great place to celebrate Eid.

Global Village will also join the celebrations, offering nightly fireworks displays from March 28 to April 5, 2025. These displays will take place at 10:00 PM throughout Ramadan, transitioning to their regular 9:00 PM timing starting from the first day of Eid. Known for its long-running seasonal shows, Global Village promises an unforgettable Eid celebration.

Visitors should note that access to the fireworks at Global Village requires admission. Tickets are priced at Dh30 for regular entry and Dh25 for weekday tickets, valid from Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays.

Eid Al Fitr Holidays in the UAE

According to the Emirates Astronomy Society, Ramadan is expected to last the full 30 days, with Eid Al Fitr anticipated to begin on Monday, March 31, 2025. The public and private sectors in the UAE will observe holiday breaks accordingly. For private sector employees, the holiday will run from Sunday, March 30 to Tuesday, April 1, with paid leave. The public sector’s holiday will be from Monday, March 31 to Wednesday, April 2.

In the event that the Shawwal crescent moon is sighted on Saturday, March 29, Eid would start on Sunday, March 30, resulting in a four-day weekend for many workers. However, if the moon is not visible, Eid will begin on Monday, March 31, leading to a longer five-day break.
